About us

Designed for impact.

When we say "design," we don't mean making things look nice. We mean making things work. How a life changes. How a future is built. How a young person transforms from disengaged to empowered.

Design is not what happens at the end. It is where we begin.

Our vision

A world where every young person—regardless of background, mental health, or circumstance—has the skills, confidence, and opportunity to build a future they love.

Our mission

To empower NEET young people and those with mental health challenges through design-led skills training, mental health support, and direct pathways to employment, apprenticeships, and self-employment.

Our values

Five things we won't compromise.

Design First

Everything starts with design—skills, programmes, and futures are designed for impact

Belonging

Every young person deserves a safe, supportive, and inclusive community

Excellence

We deliver industry-standard training to a first-class standard

Empowerment

We build confidence, skills, and independence

Partnership

We work with employers, educators, and communities to create pathways

Our team

Educators, mentors, designers, and advocates.

We are a growing team of professionals who believe that design can change lives. We come from design, technology, education, mental health, and industry backgrounds—but we share one belief: every young person deserves a future.

Our team spans the UK, bringing together the best talent from across the country. We are remote-first, agile, and deeply committed to the success of every young person we serve.

We are Kapture Foundation. And we are just getting started.

The roadmap

Our plan, 2026 → 2029.

Honesty first: this is our plan, not yet our track record. Kapture Foundation is currently in the planning phase. Our ambition is to train 500+ young people by 2029, achieve 70%+ progression, and establish 5 regional hubs.

2026 — Foundation

Nottingham first.

Register as a CIC, secure seed funding, build the brand and website, recruit the core team, establish the Nottingham hub, develop programmes, and build referral partnerships.

Target: 1 hub · core team of 3

2027 — Pilot & proof

First 50, then 200+.

Launch pilot programmes and recruit our first 50 participants. Evaluate, secure additional funding, build employer partnerships, launch London and Birmingham hubs, and establish the apprenticeship network.

Target: 200+ participants · 3 hubs

2028 — Acceleration

Manchester, evidence, scale.

Launch the Manchester hub, publish our first impact report, secure multi-year funding, and open hubs in Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, and Newcastle. Reach 500+ participants with 70%+ progression.

Target: 500+ participants · 70%+ progression

2029 — Leadership

500+ young people. 5 regional hubs.

Launch accredited qualifications, expand corporate partnerships, publish our impact report, and advocate for policy change on youth employment and mental health.

Target: 5 regional hubs · sector leadership
